Our Journey of Faith
Ponsonby Seventh-day Adventist Church began as a small group of believers united by faith, prayer, and a desire to serve the community. What started as humble gatherings has grown into a vibrant church family in Auckland, committed to spreading hope, love, and the message of Christ.

Our Early Beginnings
The Ponsonby Seventh-day Adventist Church has a rich heritage that dates back to 1887 in Auckland. It is recognised as the first Seventh-day Adventist church building established in Australasia. The foundation of the church began through a tent mission led by Pastor Stephen Haskell in 1886, which sparked a growing interest in the Adventist message within the community.
